Purpose and Objectives
To address and support the needs and concerns of the Native Hawaiian communities in the eastern most deserts of Southern California in the area of health and welfare, community advocacy, leadership development, socio-economic sustainability and to participate in activities which promote the civic life of the community. Panoa, as the organization is so lovingly referred to, is committed to uniting our members and the community-at-large in the bonds of friendship, good fellowship, mutual understanding and to preserving the cultural traditions of the Native Hawaiian people living on the continental United States and Alaska.
